Sansho Kaffir Ginger Highball

Ingredients and method


  • 30 ml sugar syrup with Planifolia Black Vanilla
  • 50 ml Japanese rum infused with Sansho Leaves
  • 20 ml lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Sansho Leaves tincture
  • Kaffir Lime Leaves
  • Ginger beer


  • Pour the sugar syrup, Japanese rum, lemon juice and Sansho Leaves tincture into the shaker
  • Add the Kaffir Lime Leaves and Sansho Leaves to the shaker and muddle together
  • Shake with ice
  • Fill the glass with crushed ice
  • Pour the cocktail into the glass
  • Top with ginger beer
  • Garnish with Sansho Leaves and Kaffir Lime Leaves and serve
