Monday evening, December 9, 2024, Rob Baan and Stijn Baan were honored to receive a wonderful recognition during the BID National Innovation Gala: the BID Innovation Award in the agricultural industry category!

The Big Improvement Day (BID) was established in 2008 from the need to highlight and advance positive developments in the Netherlands. Since then, every year on the third Tuesday of January, the top of the Dutch government and business community come together for 'the most positive day of the year' and this 'day of the decision makers'. Over the past 15 years, BID has grown to become the platform for meeting, new ideas, progressive collaborations between the public and private sectors. With names like Louis van Gaal, Loek Hermans and Prince Constantijn van Oranje-Nassau, the top of the Dutch government, business, sports, care and education come together several times a year during Improvement Days to make contact, share knowledge, show visions and start collaborations.

The Dutch Innovation Award is an initiative of the Amsterdam Centre for Business Innovation of the University of Amsterdam. Every year a wide range of Dutch companies are invited to participate in the Dutch Innovation Monitor, after which the jury, led by Professor Henk Volberda, makes a selection of companies that stand a chance of winning the Dutch Innovation Prize. These are the companies that excel in the field of sustainable innovation and make a significant contribution to solving societal challenges.

We are honored to be part of this inspiring group of nominees and thank the jury and the organization for this special moment.
