A natural, evolution
Sakura Cress® has been one of the most popular cresses in our range for many years. Known for its powerful, fresh radish flavour with a slightly spicy bite and subtle peppery notes. In addition to this distinctive flavour profile, it stands out for its deep purple colour, which adds a refined and expressive accent to any dish.
In collaboration with Sango Seeds, we have worked on further improving this variety. This extensive breeding and selection period has resulted in a variant with a deeper purple leaf colour. Whereas traditional radishes have green cotyledons, Sakura Cress® stands out for its intense colour and expressive appearance.

The renewed Sakura Cress® remains true to its origins, with roots in Japanese tradition and the belief that true quality lies in nuance. With a deeper purple colour and an even more powerful presentation, this cress better meets the needs of chefs who strive for both taste and aesthetics.
