At the start of the season, Koppert Cress is introducing six new products with which chefs can make their dishes even more attractive for their guests. For the autumn, there are three new cresses, two edible flowers and a Sea Specialty Box.
Kikuna Cress, Red Mustard Cress and Persinette Cress are three cresses with a prominent flavour and a popular appeal. Kikuna Cress tends towards carrot or celery, while Persinette Cress is a very young parsley. Both combine well with numerous dishes. Red Mustard Cress is a decorative red variety of the very popular Mustard Cress.
Until further notice, these three cresses, completed with Scarlet Cress, are only available in the WhatZnew Mix.
Due to the success of the Sea Cress Mix, there is now also a Sea Specialty Mix containing 25 Oyster Leaves, 50 g Sea Fennel, 50 Salty Fingers and 15 Shiso Leaves Green.
Purple Delight and Baroony Blossom are unique flowers which are both decorative and tasty. Purple Delight has a sweet nectar flavour. Baroony Blossom also tastes of nectar, with a hint of chocolate. Both are ideal for use in desserts
Despite the challenges which have faced the entire horticultural sector in recent months, the company continues to innovate. The new products are proof that Koppert Cress remains committed to flavour, presentation and innovation in gastronomy.
