Tuesday, October 2 LED lamps of the latest generation were placed in the Koppert Cress greenhouses, which are used for the cultivation of micro vegetables. These growth light fixtures are among the most efficient available for horticulture and contribute to a sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship. The greenhouse with the new fixtures will be put into use on short term.

The new fixtures differ from previous versions in that the water cooling is now fully integrated, making all the heat released by the LEDs discharged to the thermal storage. Moreover, the power capacity of the fixtures is also considerably increased resulting in the same growth light level with much less luminaires. The drivers of the LEDs are integrated into the waterproof fixtures making separate boxes no longer needed.
