Irish coffee
Ingredients
- 1 Citra Leaves
- 20ml cane syrup
- 50ml whisky
- 160ml coffee
- 50ml whipped cream
Method
- Pour the cane syrup and whisky into a coffee cup or glass.
- Place the cup in the microwave for 20 seconds, it’s a good trick as it will warm up the glass and the alcohol at the same time.
- Now, bend a small spoon, get it close to the layer of whisky (dome side facing up) and pour the coffee slowly on top of the spoon, it will flow nicely on the side of the spoon and prevent the coffee from mixing into the whisky, so you can make a nice layer.
- Add the whipped cream on top of the coffee and finish with the Citra Leaves.
- Serve.
Note:
I personally like using a straw for this. Eat the Citra Leaves first, then sip the hot whisky first and make your way up. So, so good and lot of fun to make. Enjoy.
